La Garita District
La Garita District is a district in the canton of La Cruz, Guanacaste Province in Costa Rica.[1]

It is located in the north of the country, near the Nicaraguan border. The district has a population of around 2,220 people.[2]

Administrative center of the district is the village of Garita.
Other villages in the district are Agua Muerta, Andes, Asilo, Cañita, Carmen, Fortuna, Guapinol, Inocentes, Lavaderos, Pochote, San Antonio and Tapezco.[1]
