L. R. Shivarame Gowda is an Indian politician and chairman of Karnataka Federation Independent Schools Management. On 6 November 2018, he was elected as ex-Member of Parliament from Mandya parliamentary constituency.[1]

Controversy
While campaigning for Nikhil Gowda in parliament elections, Shivaramegowda used derogatory remarks on Sumalatha which drew a strong reaction in both parliament elections and assembly bypolls,JDs lost both its core base and lost horribly in both parliament elections and assembly Bypolls.
