Kyle Uyehara

Kyle Uyehara (born November 27, 1989 in Whittier, California) is a U.S. short track speed skater. Uyehara has been skating for 13 years.

Early career

Uyehara started his speed skating career in Lakewood, California then moved to Marquette, Michigan to train with the USOEC from 2006-2008.[1] Uyehara is now currently one of eight men on the U.S national short track team training in Kearns, Utah at the Olympic Oval. U.S. speed skating national team

Highlights

Some highlights of his career include: North American 3000M record holder 2008 North American Champion Junior World team member(8th) overall 2008 American cup series junior champion 2010/2011 world cup team member 2010 world cup 3 (Changchun, China) December 3-5, 2010 silver medalist in men's relay Recently assigned world cups 5 (Moscow, Russia) February 11-13, 2011 and 6 (Dresden, Germany) February 18-20, 2011.
