Kuato Studios

Kuato Studios is a development studio in the video game industry that inspires and engages learners by capturing the excitement of learning through video games. The company is based in London, United Kingdom. The team consists of award-winning experts from the educational field,[2] AI specialists (using SRI's intelligent personal assistant technology) and talent from world-renowned games studios. They are jointly founded by Horizons Ventures.[3][4]

Games Developed

On 26 March 2013, Kuato Studios released Hakitzu; a multiplayer robot combat game. Players learn the basics of coding while battling robots in single and multiplayer missions. The game introduces young people to the fundamentals of JavaScript.[3][5][6]

gollark: The common thing now is to have web applications be programs which serve HTTP themselves, but it used to be the case (still is with PHP as far as I know) that your webapp would be a bunch of files run through stuff like (Fast)CGI.
gollark: Generally, web applications are programmed in things like Python, JavaScript, Ruby and (alas) PHP.
gollark: You could run the thing on the same server as your Minecraft server, but you can't host a webserver from ingame.
gollark: If you had a web backend for it, you could easily enough have other servers run their own webservers.
gollark: But if anyone *can* plug something in, it's exactly as secure as wireless, or actually less because you can access peripherals.
