Komanda (Azerbaijani newspaper)

Komanda was an Azerbaijani national daily sport newspaper. The newspaper focuses primarily on football, in particular the day-to-day activities of Azerbaijan Premier League clubs. It had one of the highest in Azerbaijan for a daily newspaper, and quarter than half of sports readership.[1]

History

Komanda was founded on 4 May 2008 by Kanan Mastaliyev.[2] On 13 August 2014, the newspaper ceased publication due financial difficulties.[3]
