Klenovica

Klenovica is there since the 17th century, when the village was named "Krmpocana" (part of Krmpote), The small fishing village is located (as the crow flies) 6 km. south-east of Novi Vinodolski (10 km by road).

In Klenovica live just over 400 people, including many famous fishermen. In the small harbor are the old wooden fishing boats that are still being used.

In Klenovica there are 6 restaurants, pizzeria, 4 bars, 3 shops, petrol station, post office and a camp.

Klenovica also offers a hotel "Villa Lostura", and so private, about 500 beds, camping for about 2000 guests and of course, several restaurants with a huge choice fish and seafood. As Fish restaurant "Pod Orajom" what lies directly in the Port, and Restaurants "Adriatic", "Školjić", "Stella Maris",and Pizzeria "Filipo".

The rough hinterland with a variety of woods and gray rock formations, but also the natural coastline with cliffs and beaches, are the precursors of Kapela and Velebit mountain (up to 1146m). Klenovica is a place where you can enjoy in the clean sea, warm climate and mild sea breeze coming from the surrounding mountain Velebit. It gives you ideal conditions for rest and relaxation of stress and tensions.

West of Klenovica is "Zrnovnica", a bay with a large freshwater source, for the village Klenovica and also Novi Vinodolski delivery drinking water.
