Kitengela Mixed Secondary School

Kitengela Mixed Secondary School is situated in lower Milimani (Kitengeloa Hills), behind the quarry towards the capital hill flats along Namanga road, 500 metres (1,600 feet) metres off the main road, 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) from Kitengela Township, in Kajiado County, Kenya.

History and operations

This school was founded in 2007 by a group of educationists. Its pioneer entrants were a cross section of class eight pupils from primary schools across Kitengela area, Kajiado County and beyond.

The school is situated on a three-acre piece of land. It has a storey building with enough classrooms, a spacious library, laboratory, administration block and a spacious staff room, it also has a kitchen and enough sanitary rooms.

The subjects offered are carefully designed and tailor-made to respond to both national and transnational challenges and needs, in addition to the approved curriculum for secondary schools by the Kenyan Ministry of Education.

The school is registered and has been sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education since 2010, marking an improvement in its mean every year.
