Kitabatake Tomonori

Kitabatake Tomonori (北畠 具教, 1528 – December 15, 1576) was the master of south Ise Province and ruled from Kitabatakeshi Jōkan. He learned swordplay from Tsukahara Bokuden so he was famous as a skilled sword man.[1] His territory was invaded by Oda Nobunaga in 1569.[2] He surrendered and adopted Nobunaga’s second son Oda Nobukatsu.[1]
