Khilaal

Khilaal (Arabic خلال) refers to the act of ritually purifying the fingers, toes[1] or beard for prayer (salat) in the Islamic faith. Khilaal is done by interweaving the fingers when wet and then drawing them apart. It can also mean refer to wiping between the toes or through one's beard. It is the name of one of many aspect of Islamic ablutions.[2]
