It is a Gram Panchayat of Shajapur district, Ujjain division, Kalapipal block. Khardon Kalan is located in Shajapur district of MP, 65 kilometres (40 mi) from the capital of MP, Bhopal. Block Kalapipal is only 20 km, and a famous market mandi of Malwa, Shujalpur is only at a distance of 34 km (21.1 mi). The nearest highway is at 10 km (6.2 mi), NH-12 (Jaipur-Jabalpur), and the railway station is Kalapipal. Kashmir-e-Malwa Narsinghgarh is only at 35 km (21.7 mi) from here.
