Career

Geid joined the ruling Peace, Unity, and Development Party Party in 2002. In May 2011, she was approved by the Interior Minister as Mayor of Gabiley District. Geid is the district's seventh Mayor since 1991 and the first woman to serve in this capacity in the Somaliland region. Before being elected to the position, she served four years as council member and six years as Vice Mayor.[1][2]

Geid was removed from office by a vote of no confidence at the Gabiley city council on 13 March 2012 and re-elected Vice Mayor.

gollark: lol no generics may be a meme, but it's also true - Go has no generics apart from compiler-magic maps/channels/arrays and possibly some other thing.
gollark: But seriously, in Go you literally cannot write `Math.max` without either using `interface{}` (effectively, dropping the type system) or probably some horrible interface hax, because lol no generics.
gollark: I see.
gollark: Oh, you mean you want a language where | is max, not where you can somehow use bitwise or for max?
gollark: If you do 0b01 | 0b10, you get 0b11, which is not right.
