Early life

Kendra began her professional career as a teenager by singing jazz and pop music in local restaurants. She graduated Lynn University with a degree in Communication and International Business.[2] She released a song and video to her single "Dark Side" based on some of the negative aspects of the entertainment industry she witnessed at a young age. After college, Kendra moved to New York City, where she collaborated with Belgium songwriter Lynn Verlayne.
Music career
During 2015, exploring the club dance scene of Miami Florida, Kendra recorded and released a five track digitally released EP "Hostage" on Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Records, working with producer and artist Brett Thorngren.[3]
Erika's song "Oasis" was released in late 2016, and charted in the top 50 on a Billboard chart.[3] Her song "Under My Skin" also entered the Dance Club Songs chart in June 2017 and peaked at number six. Both songs were cowritten and produced by Damon Sharpe and recorded in Los Angeles.[2][4] In January 2019, her single “Self Control,” produced by Sharpe, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart.[5]
In 2019, she opened for Jason Derulo at a private benefit concert in Miami.[6]
