Career

He first played for the Right to Dream Academy from 2011 to 2019. There he played in their win for the Manchester United Premier Cup in the 2014-2015 edition. He had an offer to play at the club FC Nordsjælland in 2017, but he missed the opportunity to play at the U17 World Cup for Ghana. The reason for him missing the Cup was because RTD (Right to Dream Academy) were pressing on him to join the Danish club or they would not allow him to play for Ghana's U17 team. After this, RTD kept on denying any allegations of this happening. Once his contract with Right to Dream expired, Kelvin went on a successful trial with Fortuna Dusseldorf and signed a three-year deal.[6][7][8]

Fortuna Dusseldorf

Upon coming to the team, his first appearance was against FC 08 Villingen. In the match he also scored his first ever professional level goal.[9] He subbed in the Villengen match, and he subbed in his first Bundesliga match against 1. FSV Mainz 05.[10] He subbed in the 79 minutes for Valon Berisha .[11]
