Early and personal life
O'Connell was born in Portsmouth and attended St John's Primary School and Ferndown Upper School.[1]
Career
O'Connell joined Bournemouth in 2009, and turned professional during the 2015–16 season.[1] He moved on loan to Greenock Morton in January 2019,[2] making his senior debut on 16 February 2019, in a 0–0 league draw against Ayr United.[3]

gollark: I mean, the explanation I heard was more that degrees are more for signalling that you have some level of ability to do basic intellectual work, and do moderately hard things for long-term payoffs (and other such things) than giving people knowledge they need directly.
