Keck Hospital of USC
The Keck Hospital of USC, formerly USC University Hospital, is a private teaching hospital of the University of Southern California (USC). The hospital is part of the USC Keck School of Medicine. They are located on the USC Health Sciences Campus, which is adjacent to the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, east of Downtown Los Angeles.[2]

In 2019, the Keck Hospital of USC was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the 16th-best hospital out of more than 6,000 medical centers in the United States, and fourth in the West Coast after the Stanford University Medical Center.[3]
History
It was started by National Medical Enterprises (later renamed Tenet Healthcare). Tenet Healthcare sold the hospital and a cancer center to USC in 2009 for $275 million after three years of litigation between the parties.[1]
