Film

  • And While We Were Here Coiro wrote and directed And While We Were Here for $150,000 while she was eight months pregnant.[9] It was nominated for best feature and best lead actress (Kate Bosworth) at the Tribeca Film Festival.[10] John Anderson of Variety wrote of the film: "Between the architectural pillars of Renaissance Italy and Kate Bosworth, helmer Kat Coiro hangs a gossamer tale of ruined love and liberation. Bosworth blossoms beautifully and Claire Bloom delivers a vocal performance so deft that her character seems to take palpable form." [11] While Shannon Houston of Paste wrote: "And While We Were Here establishes Coiro's presence as a new, potent voice in filmmaking."[12] Also stars Jamie Blackley, Iddo Goldberg and Claire Bloom.
  • L!fe Happens. Of Coiro's directorial debut, which she co-wrote with Krysten Ritter (who also starred) and shot on a shoe-string budget, Screen Junkies wrote: "Life Happens is the movie I wanted Bridesmaids to be."[13] Also stars: Kate Bosworth, Rachel Bilson.
  • Marry Me[14]
