Kasaragod East

Kasaragod East , Cherkkala or Chengala is a suburb of Kasaragod in the state of Kerala, India.[1]

As of 2001 India census, Kasaragod East had a population of 13888 with 6956 males and 6932 females.[1]

Badiyadka

Badiyadka is a township in Kasaragod North. The name Badiadka is derived from Badi ("temple and adka"), ground now known as Kinnimani poomani temple. The old temple can be seen in Badiadka. This place is on the top of a small hill with eye catching scenery. The state highway to Karnataka passes through the town. Badiadka is the cross roads of Kumbla, Uppala, Kasargod, Mulleria-Mercara and Puttur. Bolukatta is an active sport and cricket grounds in Badiadka. Perdala Mosque is situated on the top of a small hill and the Uroos festival is held once in every two year is famous in this area. Festival in Perdala Udaneshwara temple is also famous among other communities.
