Karthik Rathnam

Karthik Rathnam is an Indian Theatre & Film Actor who made his debut with C/o Kancharapalem,[1][2] which was the most critically acclaimed film of 2018[3][4] and the first Telugu film screened in New York Film Festival.[5][6][7] Followed by his appearance in ZEE5's Gods of Dharmapuri. He has been also signed on to reprise his role in Tamil remake of C/o Kancharapalem.[8][9][10]

Early life

Personal life

Born and brought up in Secunderabad, Telangana. While pursuing CA, he joined a theatre with Borusu Leni Bomma for which he has been awarded Nandi Award among many other,[11] He then discontinued his education and went on to perform 30 plays in various cities.[12]

Career

After being an artist, dancer and actor at theatre, he was offered his first role C/o Kancharapalem's Joseph,[13] which went on to become a critically acclaimed film of the year 2018, and was presented at New York Film Festival by Rana Daggubati.[14][15] Karthik later appeared as Ravi Reddy.[16] with actor Satyadev Kancharana in ZEE5's Gods of Dharmapuri.[17][18] He has also been signed to return as Joseph in Tamil remake of titled as C/o Kaadhal.[19][20]
