Karoline Scheimpflug

Karoline ″Lotte″ Scheimpflug, née Embacher (15 June 1908 in Innsbruck - 30 January 1997 in Vienna) was an Austrian and later Italian luger who competed from the late 1920s to the late 1950s. Born in Innsbruck, she won a gold medal in the women's singles event at the 1929 European luge championships[1] in Semmering, Austria and two bronze medals in the women's singles event at the European championships (1954, 1956).
