Karlovac Piano Festival

Karlovac Piano Festival is a diverse musical project taking place in Karlovac, Croatia. The festival is hosted by Karlovac Music School, which is the oldest musical institution in Croatia, founded in 1804.[1] The festival was established in 2013, and has been held annually during the month of July.[2] Its program consists of educational activities such as master-classes, individual lessons, as well as guest artist and student recitals.[3] Since 2014, the festival also features Karlovac International Piano Competition,[4] which in 2016 has been endorsed by Alink-Argerich Foundation.[5][6] The faculty and competition jury list includes Dang Thai Son,[7] Kemal Gekić, Anna Malikova, Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Liu Shikun, Vladimir Viardo,[8] Piotr Paleczny,[9][10] and others.
