Career

Youth

Attending Chase's Academic Foundation in his native Guyana,[2] Knights participated in the 2015 Nestle Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition with the team and was their captain, playing in the final.[3]

Trinidad and Tobago

Inking a two-year deal with Trinidadian side Morvant Caledonia United in summer 2015, the Georgetown native expressed excitement with the move, especially since it was his first professional club and aimed to shine in the TT Pro League, the league in which his team competed in.[4] Scoring his only goal for Morvant Caledonia versus W Connection, Knights viewed football in Trinidad as more intense and advanced than in Guyana, disliking the rampancy of crime there as well.[2]

Guyana

One of the 14 footballers brought in to Fruta Conquerors FC in the middle of the 2016-17 GFF Elite League,[5] Knights has previously played for the club, earning the team's 2012 Best Youth Player award and was congratulated for his input.[6]

Opening the scoring in a 2015 U17 World Cup qualifier 13-0 thrashing over the British Virgin Islands with a strike in the 7th minute,[7] the midfielder soon returned to make it a brace in the 76th minute[7] in what he described as the epitome of his career.[2]

Personal life

Seeing Guyanese trainer Jamaal Shabazz as one of his most respected mentors, the former under-17 international looks up to Morvant Caledonia player Nigel Codrington due to his equanimity.[2]

Knights has eight siblings; 2 sisters and 6 brothers.[2]

gollark: There are lots of *attempts* to make "C but newer", but they're not as ubiquitous because C is, well, old and comparatively simple.
gollark: It's a newer idea, and a nice one which lots of languages now *have*.
gollark: Yes.
gollark: Also, they make you maintain `.c` and `.h` files instead of just one which is annoying.
