Karan Singh Thakral

Karan Singh Thakral is the Executive Director of the Thakral Group of companies, a family business.[1] The group is 117 years old with businesses in real estate, technology, consumer products, manufacturing and lifestyle. He heads the conglomerate that currently has offices running across 30 countries.[2]

Business career

Thakral serves as Chairman and Director of several companies in Thakral Group.[3] His primary focus is on India, Singapore and Indonesia.[4]

He is Singapore's Non-Resident Ambassador to Denmark. Previously, he served as Singapore's Non-Resident Ambassador to Sri Lanka.[5] He has held positions for both private and government sectors in Singapore. He has served on the board of various Singapore Government related organizations.[6][7][8]

Early and personal life

Thakral is married and has five children[9] and seven grandchildren.[10]
