Karan Adani
Karan Gautam Adani (/ˈkærən/, born 7 April 1987) is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Adani Ports & SEZ Limited[4] and the director of Adani Airport Holdings Limited.[5] In 2008, he was included in the list called "Tycoons of Tomorrow" by Forbes India.[6][7]

Early life and education
He was born on 7th April 1987, in the state of Gujarat, to Gautam Adani, an Indian industrialist, and Dr. Priti Adani, a dentist by education.[8] In 2009, he graduated from Purdue University in management studies.[9]
Personal life
In 2013, Adani married Paridhi Shroff.[10] Paridhi is the daughter of Cyril Shroff who is the owner of law firm, Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co.[11] In July 2016, he became a father of a girl.[12][13]
Career
- In 2009, Karan Adani joined Adani Ports & SEZ Limited (APSEZ). And, in the year 2016, he took over the operations of the company.[14]
- In 2018, he led an acquisition campaign for Kattupalli port in Tamil Nadu (about 30 kms from Chennai Port and adjoining the Ennore Port).[15] The port was acquired from Larsen and Tubro and making it 10th port in APSEZ network.[16]
- In 2019, he was appointed to head Adani Group's airport projects which includes; Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Jaipur International Airport, Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport, Mangalore International Airport, and Trivandrum International Airport.[17]

- In 2014, on behalf of Adani Ports & SEZ Limited, he received The Economic Times Award (Category: Emerging Company).[18]
