Kannakkol is a 2018 Tamil-language film directed by V.A. Kumarasen starring Bharani and Karunya Ram in the lead roles. The film released in 2018 after beginning production in 2014.

Plot

Set in the 1990s, the story revolves around a group thieves and how they goes about robbing homes.[1][2]

V. Ramadoss, who previously produced Puthagam (2013) and Haridas (2013), agreed to produce the film after listening to the story from the director V.A. Kumarasen. This film marks the directorial debut of Kumaresan, who worked as an assistant director for twenty years.[2] The film began production in 2014 with Bharani of Naadodigal fame making his lead film debut.[3] Bobby, who previously worked as a composer for Sollamale (1998), composed the music for the film.[1] The film is based on real life incidents and was shot in Pudukkottai and Thanjavur.[2] Ganja Karuppu, who was a contestant in Bigg Boss Tamil 1 with Bharani, is also a part of this film.[4][3] The film was shot before the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil.[2]

Soundtrack

The audio was released by Keyar and the soundtrack was received by V. Sekhar and Samuthirakani.[1]
