Kamulu
Kamulu is a small town located roughly 40 Kilometers from Nairobi Central Business District, Kenya within Nairobi County, Kasarani Constituency, Ruai Location. It lies on the east side of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport bordering Katani and Githunguri on the South East, Drumvale on the East Joska to the South, Ruai/Embakasi Ranching on the North West. It is in Ruai Division with a population of 26, 448 people.

Local Administration
Kamulu entirely belongs to the Ruai Location which is part and parcel of the greater Kasarani constituency. The area can be accessed through Kangundo Road.
Parts of Kamulu
Some of the key location names in Kamulu include Stage 26, Acacia, Kanisani, Kingoris, Kamulu Shopping Center. The boundary between Nairobi and Machakos county lies on one end of the Kamulu area with the exact point being the Athi River Bridge (Kwa Daraja) just before Joska town outbound of Nairobi according to District & Boundaries Act of 1992[1]. As such Joska, KBC, Mutalia, and Kantafu fall within the Machakos County side of the border despite often being mistaken for being parts of Kamulu.

The Kamulu neighborhood remains ones of the most sought-after areas for real estate development. In 2016, Kamulu was ranked among the fastest growing real-estate areas along Kangundo Road by the Standard Group[2].
