Kalonymos Joseph ben Joel of Heuberg (Hebrew: קלונימוס יוסף בן יואל מהויבערג) (German: Koloman Josef aus Heuberg; 1726 - 1763) was a German-Jewish rabbi and scholar.

Biograph

ּKalonymos was born in 1726 in Heuberg am Wald, Germany.[1] His father, Joel ben Isaac was a minor rabbi and a paternal descendant of Aaron ben Samuel of Frankfurt (Oder) as well as the brother of Aaron ben Isaac of Rechnitz. In his early years, Kalonymos moved to Dresden, Germany, where he may have served as Chief Rabbi. In Dresden, he married Golda, the daughter of Aaron ben Mordecai of Rödelheim. He also possibly wrote an extensive work on the economics of the Talmud, but it contents have been lost. Kalonymos died in 1763 in Dresden. His son David Shalom Heuberg, was also a rabbi.[2]
