Kacchi Plain

The Kacchi Plain or Kachhi Plain is located in central Pakistan, in Balochistan Province.[1]

History

Kacchi, located in the plain, was an administrative division of the Khanate of Kalat, a princely state that joined Pakistan in 1947.[2]

Mehrgarh is one of the most important neolithic sites (7000 BCE to c. 2500 BCE) in archaeology and is located in Kacchi Plain.
