KPY Ramar is an Indian anchor and actor who is known for his comedic shows on STAR Vijay. He debuted in Tamil cinema (Kollywood) with Yaaruda Mahesh (2013) and has played supporting roles in several films.

Career

He worked in an Regional Transport Office before turning towards a career in television.[1] Ramar participated in several comedy shows including Athu Ithu Yethu, Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru before becoming a host for Ramar Veedu and Sagala vs Ragala.[2][3][4] Ramar garnered acclaim for his singing of "Athadi Enna Udambu" and the dialogue 'Ennama Ippadi Panreengale Ma' in the film Darling (2015).[1][2][5] He is set to play the lead role in the upcoming film Poda Mundam with Sanjjana Galrani.[6][7]
