Jusuf Gazibegović

Jusuf Gazibegović (Bosnian pronunciation: [jǔsuf ɡǎzibeːgoʋitɕ]; born 11 March 2000) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg and the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team.

Club career

Red Bull Salzburg

Gazibegović came through youth academy of his hometown club Red Bull Salzburg, which he joined in the summer of 2011 from a local club Austria Salzburg.[2] He made his professional debut playing for Red Bull Salzburg's feeder team, Liefering, against Ried on 3 March 2018 at the age of 17.[3]

In April 2019, Gazibegović suffered a severe knee injury, which turned out to be anterior cruciate ligament tear and was sidelined for six months.[4]

International career

Gazibegović represented Bosnia and Herzegovina on all youth levels. He also served as captain of the under-19 team.[5]
