Justin Hyde is an American poet, Editor and correctional officer from Iowa.

Life and work

Hyde has spent his entire life living in Iowa. He has had hundreds of poems published in alternative online literary magazines since 2005 and is best-known for his realist poetry, which depicts the everyday-life of everyday-people in plain language.

Hyde is a Literary Editor for The Commonline Journal and the former Poetry Editor of Thieves Jargon.[1] His work has most notably appeared in New York Quarterly,[2] The Iowa Review,[3] CounterPunch,[4] 3am Magazine,[5] and Zygote In My Coffee.

gollark: In summary, renewables are uncool except possibly for powering off-grid locations, nuclear is cooler.
gollark: Solar panels degrade too, actually, but IIRC those can be recycled better.
gollark: Especially compared to the bigger problems of:- giant amounts of CO2 and other air pollution from foolish fossil fuels- for solar: giant amounts of discarded solar panels which aren't usable any more- for all renewables, really: lots of dead batteries
gollark: It is *a* downside, but not a very big one.
