Its wingspan is about 25 mm.

The larvae feed on Asystasia, Brillantaisia, Barleria, Justicia, Eremomastax, Ruellia, and Pupalia.

  • J. w. suffusa (Rothschild & Jordan, 1903) — western Uganda to Kenya
