She began driving Formula 4 cars at the age of just 10-years-old, and had her first experience of a Formula 3 car at the age of 12[1] during a test, while also participating in the Japanese F4 Under 17 category (U17). She went on to compete in the 2019 Lucas Oil Winter Race Series, scoring 68 points and finishing the season in 14th position.
She attracted a great deal of attention setting the lap record for FIA Formula 4 machinery at Okayama International Circuit at just 12-years-old in 2018, setting a time of 1 minute 32.8 seconds – nearly a second faster than the previous best time[2].
These achievements at such a young age gained her international attention, and many pundits have earmarked her as a potential Formula 1 star of the future, likening her nascent talent to that of Max Verstappen, who went on to become the youngest ever race winner in F1 history[3][4][5][6][7].
In 2020 Noda turned 14-years-old, and therefore met the minimum age restrictions for formal motorsport competitions[8]. She is currently competing in the F4 Danish Championship, where she claimed both Pole Position and a win on her debut[9][10][11].
She also went on to finish on the podium in the reverse race at the opening round of the 2020 F4 Danish Championship at Jyllands-Ringen but was disqualified after the race for running with unregistered tyres.
She is the daughter of former Formula 1 and IndyCar driver Hideki Noda, who competed in three Grand Prix during the 1994 season for the Larrousse team.
