Juan Uslé

Juan Uslé (born 1954) is a contemporary Spanish painter known for his use of color and abstraction. In 2002, he won Spain's National Award for Plastic Arts.[1] He lives and works in New York and Saro (Cantabria).

Early life and education

Uslé was born in Santander, Spain in 1954. He studied fine art at Escuela Superior de Belles Artes in San Carlos, Valencia from 1973 to 1977.

Exhibitions

Uslé has been exhibiting since the 1980s and since then has had numerous solo and group exhibitions across Europe, North America and South America. He is represented by Frith Street Gallery in London,[2] Cheim & Read in New York City, Gallery Thomas Schulte in Berlin and L.A. Louver gallery in Los Angeles.
