Steele was a member of the Kalamazoo Lassies club during its 1953 season, while playing briefly at first base and outfield. Unfortunately, there are no statistics available from her season because the league stopped individual achievements after 1948, so individual accomplishments are complete only through 1949.[2]

Steele is part of the AAGPBL permanent display at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York opened in 1988, which is dedicated to the entire league rather than any individual figure.[3]

gollark: ... hi?
gollark: Can you just write binaries onto it through the shell they give you? Small ones.
gollark: This is, well, homelab-*adjacent* at least, so I figure I might get some help here: how can I copy my ebooks from Amazon Kindle (the service, I lost my actual physical Kindle) to Calibre? I can access them in the "cloud reader" thing and the Android app (on a rooted device, and also one old enough that it seems okay with storing some app data on SD cards), but have no idea how to import the files stored on there.
gollark: The Gallery app often works okay?
gollark: Apparently Doge Linux exists: https://sourceforge.net/projects/doge-linux/
