Joy K. Ward

Joy K. Ward is a notable evolutionary biologist and dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.[1] Previously, Dr. Ward worked as a Dean's Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Kansas.[2] She received her PhD from Duke University in 1997. In 2009, she was presented with the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers by U.S. President Barack Obama.[3][4]
