Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh
Giuse (Joseph) Nguyễn Chí Linh (born 22 November 1949) is the Archbishop of Hue in Vietnam since 2016 .[1] Giuse "Joseph" is his Christian name, while Nguyễn Chí Linh is his native name.[2]

Early life
Linh was born in Ba Lang, Tinh Gia, Thanh Hóa Province, Bắc Trung Bộ, Vietnam, on 22 November 1949, the son of Christian parents (Thiher Giaia, Thanh Hóa) from a modest background.
He attended the minor seminary in Nha Trang (1962–67), the school école de la Providence divine ("Divine Providence") in Huế (1967–68), the secondary school collège du Bon Pasteur ("Good Shepherd") in Nha Trang (1968–70) and the Pontifical College of St. Pius X in Da-Lat (1970-1977).
Due to the political events in his homeland, he had to return to his family and 14 years of hard work, but he was also active as an intern in the parish of Phan Tang, Ninh Thuận.
Priesthood
On 20 December 1992 he was ordained a priest consecrated the Diocese of Nha Trang incardinated. He then spent three years in the parish of Phuoc Thien (1992-1995).
From 1995 to 2003, he was sent to study French at the Catholic Institute of Paris, and graduated with a doctorate in philosophy. In November 2003 he returned to his home diocese in Vietnam and taught as a professor at the Seminary of Nha Trang.
On 12 June 2004 Pope John Paul II appointed him as the new bishop of Thanh Hóa.
On 26 October 2016 Pope Francis appointed him as the new Archbishop of Huế. [3]
