Joseph Gullett

Joseph Gullett is a Georgia State Representative, currently representing the 19th District.[1] He was elected in 2018 and was sworn into office on January 14, 2019. He serves on three committees: Governmental Affairs, Insurance, and Juvenile Justice.[2][3][4]

Election

Gullett defeated the incumbent Paulette Rakestraw in a Republican party runoff in July 2018.[5] He was controversially endorsed by the Paulding County sheriff.[6]

Legislation

In 2019, Gullett proposed legislation which would prevent train companies from blocking train crossings for long periods of time.[7]
