Club career

Son of former Jamaican international, Fitzroy Simpson,[3] Simpson joined local side Swindon Town at the age of six in 2004 and signed his first professional contract in March 2017 along with Scott Twine and Tommy Ouldridge.[4] Five days after signing, Simpson featured as an unused substitute during Swindon's 4–2 home defeat against Sheffield United.[5]

Following the appointment of David Flitcroft, Simpson was free to leave Swindon and in July 2017 he joined newly promoted Forest Green Rovers on a two-year deal.[6] On 1 September 2017, Simpson joined National League South side Hungerford Town on a short-term loan.[7] A day later, he made his debut in their 2–0 home victory over Concord Rangers, replacing Louie Soares in the 69th minute.[8]

Following a loan spell at Hungerford, Simpson made his Forest Green debut in their 2–0 home defeat against Luton Town, playing the full 90 minutes.[9]

On 6 September 2018, Simpson joined National League side, Havant & Waterlooville on a one-month loan[10] and made his debut during a 3–2 defeat to Harrogate Town two days later.[11]

On 22 March 2019, Simpson joined National League South side, Hampton & Richmond Borough on loan for the remainder of the campaign and went onto feature four times before returning to Forest Green in May.[12] He was released by Forest Green Rovers at the end of the 2018–19 season.[13]

On 19 June 2019, Simpson signed for Bath City.[14]

gollark: Basically, your simple English description of what you want implicitly assumes a bunch of human knowledge - *specialized expert* human knowledge, even - which would require vast amounts of difficult development to get in an AI.
gollark: Oh, and if it's a paper it might not even come with code or it might be really awful code, yes.
gollark: The code/paper you find isn't going to be conveniently usable by just downloading it and copypasting it into your AI's code or something. You'll probably have to actually understand how it works, yet another unfathomable general intelligence task, figure out how it interfaces with the rest of the code or if it can even be used together at all, and possibly rewrite it entirely to fit with what you need.
gollark: "Pluck it out" is also easy to say, but it's actually even harder.
gollark: "Find useful stuff" also sounds pleasantly easy, but it's *not*. Even a human reading a repository or paper may struggle to find "useful" bits; reasoning about the relevance of a new set of information or methods for a project is a difficult general intelligence task.
