Ned Raggett of Allmusic awarded the album three out of five stars, saying "Join My Pretty World finds the sharply powerful duo creating rough, industrial-strength darkwave music that easily bears repeated listening" and "is an underrated effort well worth seeking out."

gollark: Since the main limit is the 5 hours you need to keep eggs before abandoning them.
