John Russell Evans

John Russell Evans (born 1935) is a former Welsh international lawn bowler.[1]

Bowls career

He won a bronze medal in the triples at the 1972 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Worthing.[2] He also won a bronze medal in singles at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton.[3]

In addition to his international successes he was also the Welsh National singles champion in 1976 & 1977 [4] [5] and won the singles at the British Isles Bowls Championships in 1978.[6]
