History

The facility, which was founded by George Coupland in memory of his father John Coupland, was built in the Georgian style and opened on 24 September 1913.[1][2] It treated British and Belgian military casualties during the First World War.[3] It joined the National Health Service in 1948[1] and a major programme of fire protection works was carried out at the hospital in December 2017.[4]

gollark: It would be kind of cool to do something like this but as it turns out none of my friends are interested in my vast\* range of useful\*\* services.
gollark: As a cultured person, I would use a random *SQLite* file stuck on my server which I will never back up.
