Jodi Hauptman

Jodi Hauptman is a Senior Curator at the Museum of Modern Art.[1]

Life

Hauptman has an A.B. from Princeton University and a Ph.D from Yale University.[2]

Exhibitions

Hauptman has organized exhibits on Henri Matisse and Georges Seurat. Her exhibit on Degas was described as "a large but thrillingly intimate exhibition." She appeared on Charlie Rose to discuss the Matisse and Degas shows.[3][4][5][6][1]

Scholarship

Hauptman's book on Joseph Cornell, titled Joseph Cornell: Stargazing in the Cinema (1999), focuses on Cornell's depiction of Hollywood actors such as Lauren Bacall and Greta Garbo.[7]
