Joanna Estep

Joanna Estep is an illustrator, writer and cartoonist best known for her graphic novel Roadsong with writer Allan Gross, published in 2006 by Tokyopop. Her other work includes publication in comic anthologies such as Four Stories, Fractured Kisses, Zacherley's Midnite Terrors, and 21st Century Romances". The second volume of Roadsong was scheduled to be released in the fall of 2006.

Estep wrote and designed the textbook Timing: Expressions of Time in Sequential Art and Design, which received the Charles Logan Smith award for excellence in design, as was serialized online in February 2006 on Newsarama.com.

In 2006, Estep formalized a long-running collaboration with designer Carolyn Dew to start the calendar publisher Milktooth Press.

She is also a member of Insight Studios.
