Jim Davis (baseball)

James Bennett Davis (September 15, 1924 in Red Bluff, California – November 30, 1995 in San Mateo, California) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball. In 1956, he became the first pitcher in forty years to record four strikeouts in a single inning.[1] He threw both a screwball and a knuckler.
