Jessica Sutton

Jessica Laura Sutton (born March 31, 1993) is a South African[1] actress. She was born in Cape Town, South Africa,[2] and received her diploma in 2014 in Advanced Acting for Film, from ACT Film Academy.[3]

Sutton's first gig was in the 2015 television mini-series Saints & Strangers.[4] The same year, she had a minor role in the short film His Turn.[5] Her best known roles are in the Netflix film The Kissing Booth[6] and as the leading character Tally Craven in the Freeform series Motherland: Fort Salem.[7]

Early life

Sutton was born in Cape Town, South Africa. She attended ACT Film Academy and received her diploma in 2014 and continues her studies with Matthew Harrison at The Actors Foundry in Vancouver.[8]

Career

Since her start on screen in 2015, Jessica has appeared in several television shows, including Saints & Strangers, Ice, American Monster and Motherland: Fort Salem.[9] Her most recent film, Rogue, stars Megan Fox and is due to be released in 2020.[10] She also appeared in the films Detour, Finders Keepers, Bhai's Cafe, Escape Room, The Kissing Booth and Inside Man: Most Wanted.[11]
