Jean Charles Romatet was a French military officer who served as a general in World War II.

Romatet began his military career during World War I in the French Army in October 1912, but transferred to the French Air Force in 1916 and become a flying ace credited with seven confirmed victories (4 victories with Escadrille Spa76 and 3 victories with Escadrille Spa165).[1]
Romatet rose to the rank of Lieutenant General during World War II[2] and served as Chief of Staff of the Vichy French Air Force from 1940 to 1942.
He died in 1975.
