Life & career

Jason Washington is a contributor to the Coral Reef Image Bank.[3] His underwater photography has been featured in National Geographic.[1]

2017 he was a International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame honoured.[4] He is a PADI Ambassadiver and IDC Staff Instructor.[5]

Washington created CULL, the so-called "Cayman United Lionfish League", a non-profit organization[6] that runs the local lionfish hunting tournaments held four times each year, with the aim of removing the lionfish that has negative effect on the coral reef and introducing it as a restaurant item.[7][2]

2018, Jason Washington launched a YouTube canal that showcases underwater photography.[7] He is the owner of Ambassador Divers, a guided scuba diving operation.[2][8][7] and a USA Alpha for the US division of Sea&Sea underwater Imaging Company.[9] He is a Lifestyle Ambassador for Yema watches.[10]

Washington is a dual citizen of the United States and the Cayman Islands.[4]
