Jasmin Shimoda was born in Santa Barbara, California, to a Japanese family.[1]

Career

Shimoda worked in New York City restaurants Happy Ending,[2] Degustation, and John Dory.[3]

She co-owns a Los Angeles vegan restaurant called Jewel, with her wife Sharky McGee.[4][5] She has appeared on Chopped.

Shimoda is a proponent of cooking with cannabis.[6]
