Janne Mark
Janne Irene Mark (born 1973 in Struer by the Limfjorden, Denmark) is a Danish vocalist and composer.
Biography
Janne Mark was raised in a home without much music, but listened to the music of the 1980s when she was young. As a singer she debuted with the band B-WARE, who won the 1992 Danmarks Radio's Zig Zag program, sort of a Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She has released four albums after this, but got international recognition first with her album Pilgrim on the ACT label.[1] In Denmark she is mostly known as a composer and singer of religious hymns.[2]
