Janie and Jack is an American retail brand specializing in children's clothing. The Gymboree corporation operated the Janie and Jack stores[1] until filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2019.[2]

In March 2019, Gap Inc. purchased the Janie and Jack brand for $35 million from Gymboree. The acquisition includes Janie and Jack's online business and leases to its more than 100 stores.[3]
